2014 AAA Annual Meeting – Producing Anthropology
Press Credentials Need To Be Registered by December 1, 2014.
The American Anthropological Association (AAA) will hold its 113th Annual Meeting at the Marriott Wardman Park and Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, D.C., where more than 6,000 anthropologists will tackles some of those world’s most pressing issues from Wednesday, December 3 to Sunday, December 7, 2014.
This year’s meeting theme, Producing Anthropology offers a provocation to examine the truths we encounter, produce and community through anthropological theories and methods. With hundreds of sessions and special events, anthropologists will gather to bring cutting edge research and global solutions to a wide range of global issues, such as climate change, hunger, immigration, education, public health, global governance and security, the Israeli/Palestinian crisis and much more.
The American Anthropological Association invites credentialed members of the press to join in the conversation with complimentary registration to the Annual Meeting. Press will also enjoy admittance to invited sessions, special events and access to press-only workspace. To participate, members of the press need to register by December 1, 2014. The AAA has a new Press Credential Policy to better serve press and their editorial coverage. Onsite registration will not be granted.
