Dancing in the Starlight Kick-Off Happy Hour
WASHINGTON, DC (September 13, 2012)- The Young Professionals Council (YPC) of Starlight Children’s Foundation™ MidAtlantic is making Monday everyone’s new favorite day of the week.
Instead of schlepping home after work on Monday, Oct. 1, jump start your week with some fun, join the YPC and Starlight MidAtlantic at Urbana in DuPont Circle to kick-off the countdown to Dancing in the Starlight.
The happy hour will feature Starlight signature cocktails and one lucky attendee will win a VIP ticket to Dancing in the Starlight, this year on Nov. 17 at The Four Seasons in Georgetown. Additionally, Urbana, located at 2121 P St. NW, is generously donating 30% of all bar sales from 6-8 p.m. to Starlight MidAtlantic. Happy hour attendees will have the chance to purchase Dancing in the Starlight tickets at an exclusive early bird price.
Dancing in the Starlight is the YPC’s portion of Taste of the Stars, Starlight MidAtlantic’s premiere fundraising event. In its first year, Dancing in the Starlight ranked 12th on Revamp.com’s 2011 Lists: As Long as We’re Having Fun, a compilation of the most fun events in Washington, DC. This year the event will feature a DJ, dancing, a robust silent auction and open bar, as well as swag bags full of goodies for guests who purchase VIP tickets. The VIP ticket also includes an extra hour and half of partying.
