When he isn’t working on the field on Sundays, Washington Redskins Linebacker Ryan Kerrigan is working to give back to the community. On December 2nd, Ryan Kerrigan and his Redskins teammates will be trading their jerseys in for aprons to serve up guests a three-course meal at Ruth’s Chris Arlington Steak House.
Kerrigan and Ruth’s Chris are teaming up to raise money for Ryan Kerrigan’s “Blitz For The Better,” Foundation which provides opportunities, support and resources to special needs and chronically ill children and their families in the Greater Washington DC area.
Kerrigan, who grew up with a special needs cousin, chose a cause close to his heart. With his First Annual Celebrity Waiter Night, Ryan hopes to raise enough money to install Kerrigans Korner at Children’s National Health System.
“It’s definitely a fun way to start the Holiday season,” said Kerrigan. “We are going to have a fun time being together and doing good at the same time.”
